Over the past 18 months, Richard Chaisson, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, has worked as part of the Lancet Commission on Tuberculosis to create a report focused on the major scientific, epidemiologic, health systems and financing challenges that must be overcome to control TB. The publication, entitled Building a tuberculosis-free world: The Lancet Commission on tuberculosis, has an editorial from the Lancet editors, and a commentary from former UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon.
