Primary Care Consortium Awards

The Johns Hopkins Medicine Primary Care Consortium hosted its annual conference with the University of Maryland on Friday, April 5. Primary care providers of all specialties and disciplines from Johns Hopkins Medicine and the University of Maryland participated. Several members of the Johns Hopkins Department of Medicine were honored with awards for their achievements in primary care:

Deborah Freeland, resident at Bayview, was the recipient of the Outstanding Primary Care Resident Award.

Daniel Hindman, fellow in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was the recipient of the Outstanding Primary Care Fellow Award.

Paul O’Rourke, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was the recipient of the Outstanding Primary Care Faculty Award.

Bimal Ashar, associate professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was the recipient of the Distinguished Primary Care Faculty Award.
