Xing Named Dean of the School of Medicine of SUSTech

Mingzhao Xing, professor in the Division of Endocrinology, was named the founding dean of the School of Medicine at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, China. On July 1, he began his role leading the effort to build a new modern medical school. He hopes to promote further collaboration between SUSTech and Hopkins, where he is taking a professional leave of absence from after 20 years.
