It is with great excitement that the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians announces the selection of Kathleen Page, MD, as the medical director for The Access Partnership (TAP). Dr. Page will assume her role on January 1, 2020.
Dr. Page is an associate professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine. She obtained her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, followed by residency at the University of Pennsylvania and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins. She joined the Hopkins faculty in 2006.
Dr. Page's career is distinguished by her dedication to promotion of health equity and health opportunity to all in the City of Baltimore in general, and to the immigrant Latino population in particular. To that end, Dr. Page is the co-founder of the Centro SOL Center of Excellence in Latino Health. Since 2013, Dr. Page has also served as the chief of HIV/STD/TB clinical services for the City of Baltimore. In her role as chief, Kathleen has doubled grant revenue and introduced new clinical services. She is also a highly successful academician, with over 70 published manuscripts and book chapters.
Dr. Page is a dedicated advocate for those struggling with access to healthcare, and has worked tirelessly to address healthcare disparities. She is collaborative in her leadership style and delightful in person. She is the perfect choice to lead the TAP program. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Page to her new role.
