Cosgrove Receives PCORI Funding

Dr. Sara Cosgrove, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, will study "Optimizing the Outcomes of Adults with Gram-Negative Bloodstream Infections" with co-PI Dr. Pranita Tamma, associate professor of pediatrics. The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) announced funding awards totaling $96 million to support 18 new research studies. These studies aim to fill evidence gaps and improve health care decision making for a range of high-burden concerns among adults and children, including conditions affecting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
