Short Description of the Presentation:
Every year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) releases its annual Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) Final Rule. This webinar will review the major coding and billing provisions outlined for calendar year 2024.

- Identify the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2023 Medicare’s telehealth-related provisions

- Understand specific guidelines including behavioral health and remote patient monitoring
Speaker Bio:
Toya Campbell is the Sr. Director of Compliance & Training for Johns Hopkins Medicine with more than 30 years of combined experience in hospital and physician revenue cycle management, healthcare compliance, and process improvement. As Senior Director, I oversee all aspects of professional fee billing compliance activities for Johns Hopkins Medicine. She is a Certified Professional Coder and she holds a certification in Healthcare Compliance.
Ena Pajardo is the Risk Adjustment and Coding Manager in the Department of Education and Training. She has over 30 years of experience in coding, billing and compliance in various healthcare positions for government and private industry. She is a certified coding and compliance officer professional. She has worked for the Maryland Medicare Administrative Contractor, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and served as the Director of Coding and Billing Compliance at an academic medical center.
