In honor of Patient Access Week from March 31-April 6, we'd like to say a sincere thank you to all of the members of the DOM who work in patient access. Our healthcare access professionals play an essential role in enhancing the patient experience. They are often the first impression patients get of Hopkins be it over the phone, on a video call or in person. The week marks the anniversary of the founding of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management, the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence within the field.
