Mid-Career Cohort Leadership Program

The Office of Faculty is pleased to offer the Mid-Career Cohort Leadership Program (MCCLP). The MCCLP is designed to support the professional advancement of faculty who are at least 5 years at the rank of assistant professor or who hold the rank of associate or full professor in the JHU School of Medicine. Nine in-person sessions will be offered between September 2025 and January 2026. The program is only available in person. JHU full- and part-time employees are eligible.
The program goals are to:
  1. Develop JHU leaders who can contribute to future initiatives throughout the school
  2. Retain growing leaders by providing a prestigious and challenging learning experience, which can lead to new opportunities and promotion
  3. Embrace values and concepts that are critical to the success of JHU
  4. Offer the opportunity to create and internalize an expanded leadership identity with a sense of self‐efficacy and purpose
The class size will be limited to 40 participants who represent a balance of departments and divisions. Applicants may be nominated or self-nominated. Faculty of all genders are encouraged to apply. Please see the brochure for additional details.
To apply, submit the application form and your curriculum vitae to [email protected] by March 1, 2025. (The optional nomination email or letter should also be emailed to [email protected].)
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
*Of note: Previously, this was the Mid-Career Women’s Leadership Program. Currently, the Dean’s office accepts applications from all genders.
