Dr. Mary Catherine Beach, Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, and Dr. Gerard Anderson, Professor of Health Policy and Management with a joint appointment in the Division of General Internal Medicine, were honored with Excellence in Mentoring Awards at the 17th Annual Medical Student Research Symposium in February. This award recognizes faculty mentors who went above and beyond in their commitment to mentoring student research in the Scholarly Concentrations program. Drs. Beach and Anderson were chosen based on strong recommendations from their mentees.
