Altiery De Jesus Selected for Distinguished Teaching Society

Dr. Vivian Altiery De Jesus, assistant chief of service (ACS) in the Bayview Internal Medicine Residency, was inducted into the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Distinguished Teaching Society (DTS) on May 13. The DTS is a student-organized honor society for outstanding clinical educators. The society utilizes a rigorous, evidence-based, student-created rubric for judging student-submitted nominations for induction into the society. After a rigorous judging process, the selection committee determined that the outstanding nomination letters, as well as comments from our student body and educational leadership, indicated that Dr. Altiery De Jesus met the highest standards in clinical teaching excellence.
