On January 9, 2026, U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services announced the premium processing fee for H-1B applications will be increasing from $2,805 to $2,965. H-1B petitions filed on or after March 1, 2026, must be accompanied by a $2,965 payment.
Information on H-1B filing fees is available on the Office of International Services website. H-1B fees are an employer expense and must be paid by the department/division providing H-1B sponsorship. H-1B fees cannot be paid by the H-1B applicant/beneficiary.
