From July 16 to 19, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology hosted the 2026 Annual Allergy and Immunology Fellows Bootcamp, which was established to help new fellows build professional networks and careers in the field. More than 100 new allergy and immunology fellows from academic institutions along the East Coast gathered and attended lectures, group discussions, and networking sessions led by established experts from institutions including Johns Hopkins Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. This event is the first time that Johns Hopkins Medicine hosted the Annual Allergy and Immunology Fellows Bootcamp, which was established by the University of California, Los Angeles in 2021.
Dr. Antoine Azar, interim director and associate professor of the Division of Allergy and Immunology, shares:
