The Johns Hopkins Hospitalist Program in the Division of General Internal Medicine had an outstanding showing at HM15, the annual national Society of Hospital Medicine meeting. The program had at least 6 research posters and multiple award winners including:
Dr. Dan Brotman, director of the hospitalist program received the National Excellence in Research Award, Dr. Lenny Feldman received the Excellence in Teaching Award and Dr. Carrie Herzke, director of clinical operations, received the Platinum Chapter Award as the president of the Maryland Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine.The Society of Hospital Medicine’s (SHM) Awards of Excellence Program aims to acknowledge exemplary members of hospital medicine programs from across the country.
