Lawrence Appel, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was recently named the sole recipient of the 2016 Marvin Moser Clinical Hypertension Award recognizing his dedication to the treatment and care of hypertensive patients. He was presented with the award, which includes a $5,000 honorarium, at the annual scientific meeting of the American Society of Hypertension (ASH) in New York in May.
