Solbert Permutt Memorial Lecture

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine invites members of the Department of Medicine to the 2nd annual Solbert Permutt Memorial Lecture on Tuesday, September 13 at 4 p.m. in the Tilghman Room, Turner Auditorium. The lecture will be given by Luciano Gattinoni, M.D., F.R.C.P., guest professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, University of Goettingen, Germany. Professor Gattinoni has made enormous contributions to our understanding of the pathophysiology and treatment of the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The title of the lecture will be  “Safe Ventilation in ARDS - Limits and Thresholds.”
