The Johns Hopkins Research Symposium “Engineering Innovation for Clinical Impact” hosted by the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare will take place on Monday, November 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the William H. Welch Medical Library.
The symposium presenters come from across the university, APL and peer institutions, and will address a wide variety of topics at the intersection of engineering and health care, including novel frameworks for driving decisions, systems engineering approaches to improved care delivery, engineering innovations for interventional medicine and patient-centered design engineering. In addition to providing a broad perspective on the theme “Engineering Innovation for Clinical Impact," the event also is designed to encourage productive new collaborations and to help develop research partnerships and opportunities across university divisions.
