MERIT is a nonprofit health career pipeline program transforming Baltimore City high school students into health care leaders. MERIT provides support through four key program areas: 1) weekly academic sessions, 2) summer internships in hospitals and laboratories, 3) individualized college and career counseling and 4) longitudinal mentoring.
As the year ends, please consider helping more aspiring health care professionals achieve their potential by making a tax deductible gift to MERIT. Gifts can be made through MERIT’s website at www.meritbaltimore.org/donate or through the Johns Hopkins United Way workplace campaign by designating the campaign code for the Medical Education Resources Initiative for Teens (113835368).
MERIT’s success would not be possible without the generous contributions from the Johns Hopkins community, including tireless hours mentoring students, hundreds of internship placements and valuable organizational support from Johns Hopkins institutions such as the School of Medicine, Bayview Medical Center, Diversity Council and Center for Innovative Medicine.
Thank you for your support!
