Today marks the second annual National Women Physicians Day in honor of Elizabeth Blackwell's birthday. Blackwell was the first woman to receive a medical degree in America, opening the door for women to pursue a career that had not previously been available to them. It is clear today that the tides have changed with almost 9,000 women graduating from medical school in the U.S. in 2015 alone. Join us as we celebrate today and pave the way for tomorrow.
