Lisa Cooper, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, named the recipient of the Helen Rodriguez-Trìas Social Justice Award from the American Public Health Association (APHA) for her dedication to improving the health of underserved communities, addressing issues such as health disparities, workforce diversity and cultural competency. She will be presented the award at the APHA's 2017 Annual Meeting and Expo in Atlanta this November.
