First Quarter Report from the Development Office

We are off to a great start in fiscal year 2018 with $8,245,232 raised in gifts, grants and pledges. A few highlights include:

  • A bequest that will fund a Chair in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
  • A $250K bequest for The Pamela Tucker Fund in Infectious Disease
  • A $60K gift for the Schoenborn/Young Fund in Geriatrics

We were pleased to welcome Monica Butta to our team as Sr. Associate Director of Development, and she is off to a great start. We were also sorry to see Debbie Smith leave, but happy for her to move into the next phase of her life, retirement! Please bear with us as we hire for her position as Senior Development Coordinator.

We have several exciting events coming in October including a stewardship event for CCGHE and some of their top donors. We are also trying something new, a “Live the Mission” event for GIM.  Contact Carly Frank ([email protected]) for more details about this exciting experiential program for donors and potential donors.

Thank you for your partnership in philanthropy and please contact me with any questions or suggestions.
