Stephen Sisson, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, is one of two physicians worldwide to be elected to the American College of Physicians' (ACP) Board of Regents. The Board of Regents is the ACP’s main policy-making council, and determines the formal positions of the 160,000 member college. He will begin his two-year term in April 2018. He currently sits on the Board of Governors as the governor of the American College of Physicians Maryland Chapter.
