It is with great pleasure that we announce that Jill Kearney will be expanding her role and assuming additional responsibilities within the Academic Division. Please join us in congratulating Jill on her promotion to senior administrator, which complements her continued role as assistant dean for the Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus. In addition to her responsibilities within the Department of Medicine and School of Medicine, alongside David Hellmann, she also will begin to assist with integration efforts between the two academic campuses: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Jill’s experience with complex academic departments makes her well suited for this role. What’s more, she has a unique ability to engage a diverse group of staff, faculty and leaders to make important changes in operations that strengthen the tripartite mission. Jill will work with Charlie Reuland as he identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality and effectiveness across the Academic Division.
