The Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease recently published its 28th Annual Report featuring brief summaries on most of its 250+ publications, a summary of the Cardiovascular Research Retreat run by David Kass with a listing of all of the Stanley L. Blumenthal, MD award winners and their mentors, and news and highlights from the center from the past year. The center works with adults who are at high risk for cardiovascular disease to better prevent heart disease through rigorous research, educate physicians and patients and develop the highest level of clinical care for people at risk for developing coronary disease.
