Simon Mathews, assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and assistant director at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins Bayview, has been named head of clinical innovation for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality. He will be leading efforts to integrate quality and safety more broadly within the JHU innovation ecosystem as well as developing strategic partnerships outside the university to advance the development of quality and safety solutions.
