Josef Coresh, professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, and Morgan Grams, associate professor in the Division of Nephrology, presented data to Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) in Barcelona, and their research findings resulted in two papers which are now published in the concurrent issues of Kidney International and Kidney International Reports. This was the first time KDIGO commissioned original research to support their Controversies Conference.
The Chronic Kidney Disease-Prognosis Consortium based at JHU including Yingying Sang, research associate in the Bloomberg School of Public Health, conducted this research for the KDIGO.
