Dr. Lisa Maragakis, associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, was named the inaugural winner of the Award for the Support of Clinical Excellence from the Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence. The award was created to honor a person at Hopkins that was instrumental in supporting clinical excellence across our institution. Dr. Maragakis was honored at award ceremony earlier this month.
At the same ceremony, the following residents were recognized with the Frank Coulson Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence:
- Dr. Colin Bluementhal, senior resident, Osler Medical Residency
- Dr. Jessie Calihan, senior resident, Osler Medical Residency
- Dr. Talia Sobel, senior resident, Bayview Internal Medicine Residency Program
Drs. Gail Berkenblit, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Brian Garibaldi, associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Heather Sateia, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, and Sumeska Thavarajah, assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology, were also inducted to the academy during the same ceremony.
