Dr. Michelle Ogunwole, fellow in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was selected as one of the recipients of the Trudy Bush Fellowship for Cardiovascular Disease Research in Women’s Health from the American Heart Association during the 2021 AHA EPILifestyle Scientific Sessions. She was recognized for her abstract, “Disparities in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus Among US-Vs. Foreign-born Women: An Analysis of 2016-2017 National Health Interview Study.” The award is named for Dr. Trudy Bush to honor her outstanding leadership in the field of women's health and contributions to cardiovascular science.
