Oh Receives Venture Discovery Fund

Dr. Esther Oh, associate professor in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, was awarded the Venture Discovery Fund (VDF) from the Richman Family Precision Medicine Center of Excellence in Alzheimer’s disease (RC PMCoE-AD). This is a collaborative project with Dr. Najim Dehak (Co-PI) (Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, WSE), Dr. Laureano Moro Velazquez (Co-I) (JH WSE) and Dr. Quincy Samus (Co-I) (Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences). The project is titled - SynchroAD: New biometric signals for the detection and evaluation of Alzheimer’s disease usinartificial intelligence. The award is $150,000 over two years.
