O’Rourke Elected to Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine Council

Dr. Paul O’Rourke, assistant professor in the Division of Bayview Internal Medicine and associate program director in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Internal Medicine Residency Program, was elected by his national colleagues in graduate medical education to the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM) Council, one of the founding councils of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine. APDIM is the international organization of accredited internal medicine residency programs designed to support the pursuit of excellence in graduate medical education for internal medicine. Dr. O’Rourke will serve a three-year term representing the interests of internal medicine graduate medical education on the national APDIM Council.
