Our healthcare access professionals play an essential role in enhancing the patient experience. They are often the first impression patients get of Hopkins be it over the phone, on a video call or in person. In honor of these individuals, we celebrate Patient Access Week each year from April 2-8. The date marks the anniversary of the founding of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management, the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence within the field.
Despite our tardiness in celebrating, we are incredibly grateful for the individuals who have chosen this profession and to share their talents with us here in the DOM. We didn't want to pass up this opportunity to show our appreciation for all you do for us and our patients.
