Kristen Tweedy, ANP-C, ACHPN, nurse practitioner in the Section of Palliative Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was recognized by the JHH Advanced Practice Advisory Council with the June Advanced Practice Provider Appreciation Award. This award recognizes clinical excellence and the embodiment of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Kristen is an amazing consultant not only with palliative care patients, but with referring teams. She educates and supports them in what often end up being very tough situations. She is an avid preceptor for APP students and incorporates teaching into every interaction she has. She is a great example of carrying it forward!
