Human Resources Leadership Transition

Kimberly Meadowcroft will step down from her role as DOM Human Resources Director to become the JHU Human Resources Program Director of the Sightline Project on September 9, 2024.

Over the past eight years, Kim has expertly led the largest departmental HR team at Hopkins, with 12 HR representatives supporting more than 3,800 faculty, staff and trainees. Her steady leadership and guidance during the constantly changing state of the pandemic helped the DOM navigate a unique time for our workforce and the requirements to pivot and be productive during a worldwide health crisis. We have valued her proactive approach to address the many challenges and changing needs of the Department.

The SOM is working on a plan to modernize its human resource function to better serve departments and prepare for changes that come with Sightline implementation. With Kim deeply engaged in that implementation, our Department and the SOM will greatly benefit from her expertise.

Michael Clark has agreed to step in as interim HR leader for the DOM. With over 18 years of experience in DOM HR, we are confident in a smooth transition.
