Dr. Colleen Christmas, associate professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, was elected as chair of the Board of Governors for the American College of Physicians (ACP). Dr. Christmas has been the governor for the Maryland chapter of ACP since 2022, serving a term that ends in 2026. Beginning in April 2025, she will hold the position of chair-elect for one year to learn more about her new roles and responsibilities, then will serve as the chair from April 2026-2027; she will also serve as a regent for the organization during this time.
