The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) has published a new resource for clinicians called "Alzheimer’s Disease: New Diagnostic Technologies and Treatments" with two sections authored by Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology faculty. Dr. Esther Oh, professor, and Dr. Mfon Umoh, assistant professor, developed the "Evaluation of Cognition and Cognitive Disorder" module, and Dr. Halima Amjad, associate professor, and Dr. Lolita Nidadavolu, assistant professor, developed the "How to Talk to Patients and Families About Monoclonal Antibody Treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease (What Matters)" module. The entire curriculum, which was developed to educate new and experienced clinicians on the evolving landscape of Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and treatment, is available here for free for AGS members.
