In Newsweek’s 2027 World’s Best Specialized Hospitals rankings, The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center were recognized among the top nephrology programs worldwide. The Johns Hopkins Hospital was ranked No. 3 in the world for nephrology, while Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center earned the No. 7 spot.
This marks the first year that Newsweek has recognized nephrology as a standalone specialty in its global rankings, providing a new benchmark for excellence in kidney care.
These rankings reflect the dedication and expertise of teams across both campuses, including faculty, fellows, nurses, staff, and countless other partners committed to improving the lives of patients with kidney disease.
