The Annual Diabetes Research Center Symposium will take place on Wednesday, May 18 from 2:30-6 p.m. in the Zayed Auditorium, 21119A.
The keynote lecture, "Is GLP-1 a hormone: Whether and when?" will be given by David D'Alessio, chief of the Division of Endocrinology, associate director of Molecular Physiology Institute and professor of Medicine and Physiology at the Duke University School of Medicine.
The symposium will conclude with a reception featuring second year awardee posters.
