Sunday, September 25 marked the second annual National Research Administrator Day established by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) as a way to recognize and celebrate the enormous and valuable contributions of administrators in supporting research, innovation, inquiry and discovery.
Research impacts and benefits everyone and research administrators are a big part of that success. Here in the DOM, we have almost 75 employees working in research administration throughout all divisions and entities. On behalf of departmental leadership, we would like to extend our thanks to each of these dedicated employees and recognize their efforts in promoting compliance, supporting our researchers, safeguarding research participants, supporting ethical conduct of research and managing sponsored research dollars.
We encourage all faculty and staff to recognize the dedication and efforts of our research administrators by taking a few moments to personally thank them for supporting DOM research every day.
