David Kass, professor in the Division of Cardiology, was recently awarded the 2018 Peter Harris Distinguished Scholar Award from the International Society for Heart Research in recognition of his lifetime contributions of major discoveries to cardiovascular science. He will be presented with the award next August in Brisbane at the 2018 Australasian Section meeting where he will also give a lecture and present a review article that will be published in the Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology.
