Olurotimi Mesubi, fellow in the Division of Cardiology, has been named a finalist for the 2017 BCVS Melvin L. Marcus Young Investigator Award from the American Heart Association's Council on Basic Cardiovascular Sciences for his abstract "CaMKII Oxidation Causes Increased Atrial Fibrillation in Diabetic Mice." He will present his abstract at the Scientific Session in California in November for a chance to win the final prize.
